Went to my favorite store- TORRID. Got some great deals there and ended up getting a coupon to come back in later, buy $200 for $100. Now **THATS** a coupon!!! I finally own more than 1 pair of jeans at a time!!!!! I now have a basic set. Regular jean, boot cut, black and an embellished pocket pair. Am now starting with underclothes. Bought my FIRST true support bra.......OMGOSH!!!!!! I cant see my toes! However, my shirts now fit me so much better having the tatas's up where they belong!!!!! Starting with the basics. I have went so long with Goodwill clothes. Not that I will stop shopping there!!! But now feel like I can spend money on myself that I always thought was wrong.
I'm getting there.

i'm soooo excited for you!!!! this year i graduated to more than one pair of jeans too--blue and black! just did my yearly underwear shopping & bought a new bra. when i put it on i came out and said to jeff "see, this is where they are supposed to be!" hahaha i used to wear my stuff until it was awful--always worrying that the kids and jeff had what they needed first. i need to buy unders more than once a year though ;)
ReplyDeletegirl, I hear ya!!!! When I got home, I put on my regular bra and showed Jimmy. Then I said...."Wait.....let me show you THIS!" He laughed his head off! To be honest, I'm not so sure I like it!!!! I mean, the first thing you see now when you see me is BOOBS! But Karen, I have been the same way. No wonder my self esteem has been awful. When you compare what your undies look like, it kinda gives ya an idea of my self esteem!! And it T`ant Perty!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that ya got some things that ya needed! I knew when you got the bra needed you would love it. Not that you still won't still want to take it off the first chance you get. lol. But you do feel better about how you look when you are going somewhere. BTW the way you are so worth it!!!
ReplyDeleteI could not wait to get it off!!! Yes, it was wonderful knowing I looked better but man.....after wearing that thing for about 10 hours, that led to me being very sore underneath from that underwire!!! But it is nice seeing up where they belong! lol

I am so excited for you! It makes me feel so much better about myself when I am able to take good care of myself. I rarely do though. I hope you post a picture of yourself in those beautiful boots!!!
